Praying to God

Dear brothers and sisters, I urge you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to join in my struggle by praying to God for me. Do this because of your love for me, given to you by the Holy Spirit. (Romans 15:30 NLT)

Today's prayer topics:
  • Pray for more Christians to join us in daily prayer for Emmanuel because even though we have won many battles, the war is not over and there is much to be done.
  • Pray for staff and faculty to be anointed in their respective roles, and pray for our students to break through obstacles in the way and eagerly receive what God has for them.
  • Week 23 in Phase 3 of the campaign FOR EMMANUEL. Pray for thousands of benefactors who are prompted by the Holy Spirit to love and cherish Emmanuel College through lavish prayers and extraordinary gifts.

They Will Pray

I'll refine them as silver is refined, test them for purity as gold is tested. Then they'll pray to me by name and I'll answer them personally. I'll say, "That's my people." They'll say, "God - my God!"(Zechariah 13:9 MSG)

Dare to Trust God

Abraham was first named "father" and then became a father because he dared to trust God to do what only God could do: raise the dead to life, with a word make something out of nothing. When everything was hopeless, Abraham believed anyway, deciding to live not on the basis of what he saw he couldn't do but on what God said he would do. (Romans 4:17-18 MSG)
