- Pray we resist the urge to take the credit for what the Lord has done and continues to do at Emmanuel College; rather, may we declare, "He has done it!"
- Pray for our culture of service to develop so strongly at Emmanuel that thousands upon thousands will know God in the future because we served faithfully in the present.
- Pray for generous responses in the second week of Fall Phon-a-thon.
Answered prayer:
- Thankful for the first week of Phon-a-thon resulting in nearly $9,000 in pledges. Give thanks.
Never give up unless it's praise we give up to God; never give in except to give in to him.
