Keep to the Path

But giving thanks is a sacrifice that truly honors me. If you keep to the path, I will reveal to you the salvation of God.  (Psalm 50:23 NLT)

• Giving thanks, a sacrifice? Releasing thanks is quite a sacrifice when we are so intent on throwing a pity party so pray we replace "Woe is me" with "Thank you, Jesus." 
• Pray we honor God with constant thanks that defy circumstance by declaring our confidence in him.
• Pray we understand that God never promised us an easy path, but he does promise to be with us - Emmanuel - on the path.

Give thanks for God's generous care and for his answers to our prayers:

• Thanks be to God for his promise to save and rescue those who are faithful to him.

As the praises go up, the power comes down.
