The name of the Lord is a fortified tower; the righteous run to it and are safe. (Proverbs 18:10 NIV)
Today's meditation:
- Safe doesn't mean the absence of trouble, but it does mean protected and secure even though troubles may surround.
Pray today:
- For troubles to be halted at the boundaries of God's refuge, for our minds to be fortified against all attacks of the enemy.
- For us to call upon the name of the Lord, standing in his strength, doing battle in his power.
- For Emmanuel College to be a place where the name of Jesus is lifted high, where he is worshiped and adored.
