The Lord Provides

So Abraham named that place The Lord Provides. Even today people say, "On the mountain of the Lord it will be provided." (Genesis 22:14 NCV)

Today's meditation:

• Through the largeness of God's mercy and grace, we find provision for daily bread and so much more.

Pray today:

• For all things spiritual - staying connected to our Source for everything.
• For all things practical - working hard on tasks that matter.
• For all things visionary - focusing clearly on next steps of faith.
• For all things financial - abundant revenues, prudent expenses, balanced budgets.

Pray for the top three needs of Emmanuel College:

• To hear the Word of the Lord regarding life after debt and our vision for an expanded mission for 2018 and beyond.
• To enroll more than 1000 students in August 2019.
• To continue reducing our debt over the next five years with the purpose of becoming debt-free.

Pray for upcoming events and activities:.

• General chapel services on Tuesdays at 11 a.m. and on Wednesdays at 7 p.m. and School of Christian Ministries chapel services on Thursdays at 11 a.m.
• Vision 4 Education Celebration sponsored by Women's Ministries, October 5.
• Board of Trustees Meeting, October 5-6.
• Homecoming Weekend, October 19-21.
• Fall Preview recruiting event, November 2-4.
