Your Glory

• Two observations about lions in the Bible: They are often portrayed as enemies, yet Jesus is identified as the Lion of the tribe of Judah - leader, rescuer, Savior.
• The take-away: Pray that what the enemy intends for evil is transformed into outcomes that are powerfully blessed and incredibly good.
• Emmanuel's mascot is the lion, and like the noble beast, pray for us to be confident, fierce, and not afraid.

• We don't always know what God is up to or how he will bring success, but we often see and hear the signs that tell us he is moving. Pray we move with him.
• Pray for us to be alert to the Holy Spirit, discerning the real issues in each circumstance and responding courageously to his marching orders.

• Some may think that Emmanuel College has turned the corner of our financial challenges. We have not, but we have turned a corner by God's help and faithfulness. Give thanks.
• Pray for our plans and actions during the 2016-17 academic year which will be our most challenging period thus far because we must solve the debt problem.
• Give thanks for the miracles and provisions from God lifting us over huge obstacles and giving us hope for even greater things through his power and Spirit.

Wait Patiently

• Impatience often leads to careless action outside the scope of God's purpose and plan. Forbid it, Lord.
• Pray for divine intervention that leads to righteous action in God's timing and for patient communion with God during the interim.
• Pray for the Lord's deliverance to come quickly, but if it doesn't, pray we experience how good it is to rest easily in his care until he chooses to act.

• Never forget that the challenges facing Emmanuel College are spiritual battles ultimately resolved by spiritual means. Prayer is first because prayer invites God to take control and to inform and influence the strategic.
• Pray for thousands of prayer warriors who battle this enemy on their knees, in their prayer closets, in places of worship, putting the enemy to flight and opening the way for freedom and deliverance for Emmanuel College and for those in our circle of influence.

Peace

• Pray for peace of mind to pervade our campus and for the elimination of fear.
• Pray for the removal of physical and spiritual deterrents to God's plan for Emmanuel.
• Pray for numerous meetings in early August for planning and training by faculty, staff and students for the new school year as well as problem-solving meetings engaging friends of the College around financial planning, and please keep praying for these meetings during the remainder of July.

• It is fitting for us to praise the Lord because our Diversified Agriculture program has been formally approved by our accreditation agency. Praise him and shout for joy all you people.
• Pray for the program to fill with students quickly over the next few years.
• Pray for the faculty teaching in each of the concentrations: Ag Business, Ag Science and Ag Missions.
