Focusing prayer on the Emmanuel College strategic plan, Emerging Stronger with Purpose, during the month of September. Thank you for praying. 

Sunday – Pray for Strategic Priority 3: To expand academic mission through new programs.

Monday – Pray for the improvement and expansion of the Virtuosi Honors Program.

Tuesday – Pray for the development of new baccalaureate programs, both traditional and online.

Wednesday – Pray for the growth of existing graduate programs and for the development of new ones.

Thursday – Pray for Strategic Priority 4: To expand co-curricular experiences that are intended to foster student development and create community.

Friday – Pray for the development of training experiences for our students in interpersonal and soft skills that enhance their career opportunities and that promote a culture of wellness on campus.

Saturday – Pray for more opportunities through clubs, organizations, and other co-curricular efforts to enhance student life and to prepare for careers.

September 18-24, 2022

Sunday – Pray for the continued implementation of Strategic Priority 1: To cultivate meaningful relationships with God, self, and others. 

Monday – Pray for our student life staff and others to continually enhance spiritual development opportunities on campus.

Tuesday – Pray for the leadership of EC Serve so that they continue to develop service opportunities for students, staff, and faculty.

Wednesday – Pray for the continued implementation of Strategic Priority 2: To provide academic programs and support services centered on student learning.

Thursday – Pray for those responsible to assess and review existing academic programs for relevance and viability.

Friday – Pray for our support systems to improve student persistence and the achievement of degree completion in more students.

Saturday – Pray for more opportunities to discover and share best practices of teaching and learning.

September 11-17, 2022

The Lord gives his people strength. (Psalm 28:8 NLT)

Please pray for Emmanuel College this week, September 11-17, 2022. Thank you for praying. 

Sunday – Pray for our students to seek God during times of challenge and difficulty and to put their trust in him.

Monday – Pray for the staff and faculty who work with the Bridge, our early alert system that identifies and intervenes with students who may be struggling.

Tuesday – Pray for the admissions team to be energized by the Holy Spirit for greater effectiveness and success in enrollments for spring and fall of 2023.

Wednesday – Pray for Wednesday evening chapel services to stimulate revival and renewal on campus.

Thursday – Pray for the expansion of our donor base, for new donors to join in support of our mission, and for current donors to be faithful in their giving.

Friday – Pray for our student leaders to be effective in shaping the campus culture in ways that point students to Jesus.

Saturday – Pray for EC Serve projects to create opportunities for Christian witness to people who need to receive Jesus as their Savior and Lord.

September 4-10, 2022

Sunday – Pray for our students to seek God during times of challenge and difficulty and to put their trust in him.

Monday – Pray for the launch of our first graduate classes that began last week, for all to go well, and for our students to be successful. 

Tuesday – Pray for our speaker in chapel today to be very effective in communicating the love and care of Jesus for them.

Wednesday – Pray for the senior leadership team of the College to be guided by the Holy Spirit in our deliberations and decisions.

Thursday – Pray for more donations to the alumni scholarship fund to help more students stay in school and complete their education.

Friday – Pray for our students who may be struggling with issues such as homesickness, finances, and health.

Saturday – Pray for exceptional recruiting success for spring semester and for an enrollment in January that far exceeds expectations.
