For those who work with our youth, whether paid staff or volunteers, to be loving examples of Jesus to the youth who gather around them, for them to be wise in actions and words in doing God's work.

For YouthQuest that starts today in Covington, Kentucky, for thousands of young people, parents, youth pastors, and church leaders who will gather there, people from many generations all gathered together for the primary purpose of strengthening the younger generations.
For Emmanuel College personnel to be effective in reaching and recruiting this group of teenagers, for the next generation of Christian leaders to be drawn to our Christian college campuses where life-changing encounters with Christ occur.

Although we are to be quick to give thanks for God's deliverance and to always be grateful, we must be careful to never allow our remembrances of God's move in the past to eclipse what the Lord is doing in our midst now.

Pray today:

For us to frame the blessings of the past in the context of God's abiding presence and power to do even greater things in the present and the future.

We confess our human penchant to go our own way, yet we rejoice in God's forgiveness and faithfulness when we cry out to him and pray. He does not turn us away; rather, he welcomes us and moves mightily on our behalf.

Not abundantly, but super abundantly, God does more than we even dare to ask or even think.

Pray today:

For the power of God to work through us to change the spiritual and moral climate of our nation, for Christians to lead the way to peace and reconciliation, for revival on a national scale we pray.
For Emmanuel College to be a standard bearer of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, for our students, staff, and faculty to lead the way in Christian unity beyond what we can hope or imagine.

Our prayers make a difference in our outcomes. Please continue to pray over the list below that focuses on key needs at Emmanuel College.

To be accepted into active membership in the NCAA Division II in July 2018.
To enroll more than 1000 students in August 2018.
To continue reducing our debt over the next five years with the purpose of becoming debt-free.
To hear the Word of the Lord regarding life after debt and our vision for an expanded mission for 2018 and beyond.

To supply resources, both financial and otherwise, that create a bright future for the College.

Your Commands Are Supreme

God's love never stops nor does his faithfulness waver so honor him in our places of worship today with thanksgiving and praise.

Pray today:

For the laws of the United States to yield to the commands of God, for love to break down partisan politics and dissolve hate.
For the people of Emmanuel College to honor the Lord and obey his commands.
