Model the Good

Friend, don't go along with evil. Model the good. The person who does good does God's work.  (3 John 1:11 MSG)

Today's meditation:
  • Good models of Christianity lead the way for us, starting with Jesus and then with those who follow his example, pointing the way for us to follow, which we must do because others are following in our wake.
Pray today:
  • For those who work with our youth, whether paid staff or volunteers, to be loving examples of Jesus to the youth who gather around them, for them to be wise in actions and words in doing God's work.
  • For staff and faculty of Emmanuel College to remember the days of our youth and how difficult it is to transition to the adult world, for us to offer compassionate understanding and to provide firm guidance using the Bible as our guidebook and the example of Jesus as our model.
Our prayers make a difference in our outcomes. Please continue to pray over the list below that focuses on key needs at Emmanuel College.

“. . .they raised their voices together in prayer to God.” (Acts 4:24 NIV)
