• Working for the Lord is the best use of our time even if the tasks seem small - driving a nail, sweeping a floor, offering a comforting word, sharing a bit of bread and water.

Pray today:

• For the last-minute preparations underway for our EC Serve team to Uganda and Kenya leaving on June 12, for safe travels and abundant opportunities in the field, for those who will receive the ministry of this team to have open hearts and minds.
• For the Emmanuel College staff, faculty and administration to invest ourselves in the work of the Lord as never before, for us to see the harvest ripening before us this fall and not hold back in our responsibilities to guide and challenge our students in faith, learning and living.

• For all the last-minute preparations to go smoothly, for all team members to be healthy and rested and prepared to work, for protection as they travel to and from and during their stay.
• For those who will receive this ministry to find help for their daily lives as well as food for their souls, for their hearts and minds to be prepared to receive all God has for them.

• For resources to complete summer projects to improve facilities, for the fundraising campaign to be successful in raising more than enough money to fund these projects.
• For facilities management staff who will work long hours through the summer to complete the many projects, for their safety and stamina, for wisdom and discernment in repairs and maintenance.
• For more volunteers to signup for EC Mission so that more projects can be completed than planned, for project dates July 15-28 (http://www.ec.edu/ecmission).
