They Gave

For I can testify that they gave not only what they could afford, but far more. And they did it of their own free will. (2 Corinthians 8:3 NLT)

Day 10 of 14 of prayer and fasting for safe passage through numerous challenges this summer.

Today's meditation:

• God may own the cattle on a thousand hills, but he doesn't have a bank account except for mine and yours, and he depends on our generosity and obedience to fund his ministries.

Pray today:

• For remodeling projects underway this summer including Aaron Building upgrades, for the workers to be efficient and ahead of schedule, for the fundraising efforts that support this project to exceed goal.
• For considerable construction planned to bring the old SCM Building back on line, for the project to move smoothly from start to finish, for the facility to be exactly what we need it to be when finished.
• For technology upgrades to expand and improve our wireless capacity on campus, for the fundraising campaign to underwrite this project to be successful.
