Praises

Sing praises to God, our strength. Sing to the God of Jacob. (Psalm 81:1 NLT)

Today's meditation:

• Part of our conversation with God is the expression of our emotions about him, how much we love him and enjoy his company, how grateful we are for his presence and his acts of kindness, how much we adore him for who he is. 

Pray today:

• For supernatural strength from the Lord when our frailties are exposed, for us to turn times of waiting into resilience of spirit and resurgence of energy, releasing one challenge with celebrations of praise while embracing the next one with fortitude and sturdy resolve. 

Our prayers make a difference in our outcomes. Please continue to pray over the list below that focuses on key needs at Emmanuel College.

PRAY FOR OUR HELPERS AND SUPPORTERS

• To possess words of influence and to use them wisely.
• To experience the favor of God.
• To supply resources, both financial and otherwise, that create a bright future for the College.

PRAY FOR THE LEADERSHIP TEAM

• To be guided by the Holy Spirit with gifts of knowledge and discernment.
• To make good decisions and to clearly communicate them.
• To be faithful in all circumstances, whether easy or hard, always with thankful hearts.

PRAY FOR THE TOP FIVE NEEDS OF EMMANUEL COLLEGE

• To complete the process of dramatically reducing our debt before May 2018, and further, to reduce it again or even eliminate our debt within five years.
• To successfully achieve reaffirmation of accreditation in June 2018.
• To be accepted into active membership in the NCAA Division II in July 2018.
• To enroll more than 1000 students in August 2018.
• To hear the Word of the Lord regarding life after debt and our vision for an expanded mission for 2018 and beyond.

• Ongoing tasks and processes regarding the reduction and elimination of debt.
• Recruiting at Conference Fine Arts events in April.
• Recruiting at Conference Youth Camps this summer. 
• EC Serve mission trip to Appalachia, June 3-9.
• EC Serve mission trip to Costa Rica, June 8-16.
• EC Serve mission trip to Uganda and Kenya, June 12-29.
