Pray first that the details of our lives, both the pleasant and the not so pleasant, are yielded to him in faith and confidence, woven together for good.

Pray through for our students this week as they take final exams and complete assignments for the semester and for our faculty as they complete grading and assess learning outcomes.

Faith and hope

Pray first that faith and hope characterize the attitudes and actions of Christians everywhere - solid faith in what Jesus has done for us and contagious hope grounded in the promises of God.

Pray through for the Emmanuel College staff, faculty, and senior leadership team to pray intensely, live abundantly, serve passionately, and during these difficult times, to overcome our worries by living out our faith.

Shelter in His presence

Pray first that the church will sing and rejoice today in worship and praise because the Lord is worthy of our adoration. May we never cease to be glad in the Lord and to shelter in his presence.

Prosper

Pray first for unity, cooperation, and hard work to lead the way to recovery from the pandemic, for depressed businesses and nonprofits to begin to thrive, for Christ-followers to set examples of leadership, service, and faith through our  churches, colleges, businesses, professions, and other entities.

Pray through for our nation's governors and other state officials to make wise decisions regarding the re-opening of our economic and social structures.

Pointing them to Jesus

Pray first for the people of Emmanuel College, for our faith to grow stronger, for our witness to be amplified, for our lives to be like savory seasoning that arrests the appetites and attentions of the people around us, pointing them to Jesus.

Pray through for a great awakening during this time of worldwide pandemic, for people to turn to God, for faith to arise around the globe.

Make the most of every opportunity

Pray first that the church will emerge from the pandemic stronger and more energized than before, that we will never take for granted the privilege of gathering, worshiping, and serving together, that we will make the most of every opportunity to win the lost and to build up the body of Christ.

Living our faith

Pray first for believers to bring honor, glory and praise to Jesus Christ by the way we live out our faith - in all times, with everyone everywhere.

Pray first for the redemptive message of Easter to be heard this weekend, for people to understand and accept God's provision for the world.

How God loved the world

Pray first for lost people everywhere to come to Jesus during this Easter season, to understand what Jesus did on the cross, to personally accept him as Savior.
