God is Good

Truly God is good to Israel, to those whose hearts are pure. But as for me, I almost lost my footing. My feet were slipping, and I was almost gone. For I envied the proud when I saw them prosper despite their wickedness. They seem to live such painless lives; their bodies are so healthy and strong. They don’t have troubles like other people; they’re not plagued with problems like everyone else. . .Yet I still belong to you; you hold my right hand. Give Praise

Praise the Lord! Yes, give praise, O servants of the Lord. Praise the name of the Lord! Blessed be the name of the Lord now and forever. Everywhere - from east to west - praise the name of the Lord. (Psalm 113:1-3 NLT)

Today's prayers:
  • Receive our praise today, O God. On this Lord's day we worship and praise you.
  • May praise rise today in us and around the earth in wave after wave as your people awaken, give thanks, and enter your courts to worship.
  • Week 15 in the campaign FOR EMMANUEL. We bless your name, O Lord, and praise you for your abiding presence with us.
Thank you for praying.

Answered prayer:
  • Students are registered for fall semester from many states and countries. We rejoice in the opportunity we will have to educate them and to help them encounter God, to view hopes, dreams, and careers from a Christian world-view.
Never give up unless it's praise we give up to God; never give in except to give in to him.

God's Faithfulness

I have not kept the good news of your justice hidden in my heart; I have talked about your faithfulness and saving power. I have told everyone in the great assembly of your unfailing love and faithfulness. (Psalm 40:10 NLT)

Today's prayer topics:
  • Thank God for his faithfulness in responding to our call and for sending provision through those who listen carefully to his voice.
  • Praise and proclaim the saving power and unfailing love of the Lord our God.
  • Week 14 in the campaign FOR EMMANUEL. Thank God for providing friends to stand with us and help us through the challenges we face.
Thank you for praying.

Answered prayer:
  • Thank God for the students who are preparing to enroll this fall. The new student class will be larger than last fall and overall enrollment is projected to increase. Thank God for the potential in these students to set right what is wrong in this world.
Never give up unless it's praise we give up to God; never give in except to give in to him.
