Please pray for Emmanuel College this week, August 28-September 3, 2022. Thank you for praying. 

Sunday – Pray for our students to seek God during times of challenge and difficulty and to put their trust in him.

Monday – Pray for the launch of our first graduate classes this week, for all to go well, and for our students to be successful. 

Tuesday – Pray for our speaker in chapel today to be very effective in communicating the love and care of Jesus for them.

Wednesday – Pray for the senior leadership team of the College to be guided by the Holy Spirit in our deliberations and decisions.

Thursday – Pray for more donations to the alumni scholarship fund to help more students stay in school and complete their education.

Friday – Pray for our students to succeed in their courses and in their learning, to resist the temptation to procrastinate, and to achieve their potential.

Saturday – Pray for wise decisions and abundant resources as we begin new recruitment cycles for Spring and Fall Semesters of 2023.

Sunday – Pray for the spiritual seeds planted during the Alpha Spiritual Emphasis to germinate and bring forth abundant fruit in our students.

Monday – Pray for our residence directors and student resident assistants as they work with our dorm population. 

Tuesday – Pray for our chapel services each Tuesday to be effective in spiritual growth and development in our students.

Wednesday – Pray for budget and financial decisions that establish strong and stable campus operations.

Thursday – Give thanks for the decision of our insurance company to honor a claim to replace the roof on the old gymnasium. 

Friday – Pray for the implementation of the strategic plan: Emerging Stronger with Purpose.

Saturday – Pray for the planning of mission trips next spring and summer by the EC Serve staff and for the funding to make them possible.

August 14-20, 2022

Sunday – Pray for developmental growth of our students, especially for good decision-making.

Monday – Pray for our Foundations Courses to be effective in helping our new students adjust to college life and be successful.

Tuesday – Pray for more graduate students to enroll in the Exercise Science program this fall.

Wednesday – Pray for the Senior Leadership Team to have the mind of Christ and to lead well.

Thursday – Pray for the Student Life team as they continue to work with the acclimation of the new students. Pray for wisdom to guide their interactions.

Friday – Pray for EC Impact, the student organization that mentors student leaders in leadership, evangelism, and discipleship.

Saturday – Pray for EC Serve staff and students as they implement several local service projects in the surrounding communities. this semester.

August 7-13, 2022

Pray that the Lord's message will spread rapidly and be honored wherever it goes.  (2 Thessalonians 3:1 NLT )

Sunday – Pray for the student life staff who are working with our new students through orientation and other student activities

Monday – Pray for our residence life staff who are helping our new students adjust to residence hall life. Pray for students who may be homesick.

Tuesday – Pray for students and faculty as they begin classes today.

Wednesday – Pray for the staff who work directly with students in various departments to be effective in helping our students succeed this academic year.

Thursday – Pray for the Alpha Spiritual Emphasis that begins today. Pray for our speakers to be effective and for our students to be responsive to the Holy Spirit.

Friday – Pray for the final night of the Alpha services tonight. Pray that our students commit themselves to spiritual growth and academic excellence.

Saturday – Pray for the fall semester to run smoothly and without interruption from COVID-19 or any other deterrent.
