Focusing prayer on the Emmanuel College strategic plan, Emerging Stronger with Purpose, during the months of October and November. This week we continue to pray over specific action items embedded in the plan. Thank you for praying. 

Sunday – Pray for the development and implementation of programs that promote health and wellness among our students.

Monday – Pray for the development and implementation of programs that infuse career and professional development into the campus culture.

Tuesday – Pray for the resources to implement upgrades to technology systems throughout the campus.

Wednesday – Pray for the successful completion of the Swails Center renovation on time and on budget.

Thursday – Pray for the resources to complete the agriculture center including the final components to the Fred Westfall outdoor classroom and the construction of the Collins Ag Center Building.

Friday – Pray for the resources to complete other building and remodeling projects on campus.

Saturday – Pray for the resources to complete deferred maintenance projects especially those that improve student life and learning.

October 23-29, 2022

Sunday – Pray for the development and implementation of new baccalaureate programs.

Monday – Pray for the development and implementation of new graduate programs.

Tuesday – Pray for Emmanuel Online, the college's implementation of fully online programming for undergraduate and graduate students.

Wednesday – Pray for the college's efforts to partner with the community and with local businesses to offer programs needed in our area.

Thursday – Pray for greater innovation in programming and teaching that successfully sets us apart from our competitors and attracts growing numbers of students.

Friday – Pray for the resources to implement the vision we have for changing the lives of our students through faith, living, and learning.

Saturday – Pray for the faculty and staff who are charged with the responsibility to implement elements of the strategic plan.

Sunday – Pray for the assessment processes of our academic programs to be accurate and helpful in improving student learning outcomes.

Monday – Pray for the programs designed to help first-year students succeed such as the Bridge early alert system and the Foundations courses for new students.

Tuesday – Pray for more students to persist and push through in their academic struggles and for them to be successful all the way to graduation.

Wednesday – Pray for the development and implementation of more service learning opportunities for students that give them real-world experience.

Thursday – Pray for the resources to establish a Center for Innovation in Teaching and Learning.

Friday – Pray for the growth of the Virtuosi Honors Program and for more students to enroll and benefit from its programming.

Saturday – Pray for current academic majors to be fully enrolled by strengthening their recruitment activities.

Sunday – Pray for the integration team that researches and implements initiatives to integrate faith/Biblical worldview with learning across all facets of the curriculum.

Monday – Pray for The Table, the college's small group ministry for students.

Tuesday – Pray for the students engaged in local, national, and global service projects through EC Serve. 

Wednesday – Pray for EC Impact, the student organization that focuses on the development of leadership, evangelism, and discipleship.

Thursday – Pray for more experiential learning opportunities for students to be civically and socially engaged in local, national, and global communities.

Friday – Pray for the Campus Climate and Culture Task Force as it continues to initiate projects and actions that empower Christian witness on campus.

Saturday – Pray for those who support students in the residence halls including resident assistants, residence directors, and discipleship teams.

October 2-8, 2022

Sunday – Pray for Strategic Priority 5: To improve campus infrastructure.

Monday – Pray for the resources needed to expand and enhance security and safety systems and to improve the technology infrastructure campus wide.

Tuesday – Pray for the resources to improve campus facilities and to decrease deferred maintenance.

Wednesday – Pray for Strategic Priority 6: To improve the financial stability of the College.

Thursday – Pray for the improvement and diversification of revenue streams to the College

Friday – Pray for dramatic growth of the endowment of the College.

Saturday – Pray for the continuation of the Now More Than Ever fundraising campaign, especially the effort to significantly reduce debt.
