November 28 - December 4

Please pray for Emmanuel College this week, November 28 - December 4. Thank you for praying. 

Sunday – Pray that the Advent season that begins today will arrest the attention of our students who need Jesus that they may turn to him and be saved.

Monday – Pray for students enrolled in the December term to be successful.

Tuesday – Pray for our donors as they plan their end-of-year giving to be generous in their support of Emmanuel College.

Wednesday – Pray for the senior leadership team to possess wisdom and understanding in all planning and decision-making. 

Thursday – Pray for the Strategic Planning Committee that meets today to be led by the Holy Spirit in understanding the actions needed to strengthen Emmanuel College and to envision its future. 

Friday – Pray for funding to complete the remodeling of the Welcome Center which houses the admission offices.

Saturday – Pray for EC Serve mission trips being planned for 2022. Pray for the leaders and students who will go and for those to whom they will be sent.

November 21-27

Pray for us. (Hebrews 13:18a NKJV)

Please pray for Emmanuel College this week, November 21-27. Thank you for praying. 

Sunday – Pray for our students to develop a great hunger for the word of God and to reject the trappings of modern culture that are contrary to Biblical Truth. 

Monday – Pray for the Bridge and its personnel who work with students who may be at risk of dropping out. Pray for positive and successful interventions.

Tuesday – Pray for our chapel service planning for next semester to be effective in helping students draw closer to Jesus and in finding his will for their lives.

Wednesday – Pray for our students, staff, and faculty who may be traveling over the Thanksgiving holiday and weekend to be safe and to enjoy their time off with friends and family.

Thursday – As we give thanks today on this national day of Thanksgiving, pray for those among our students, staff, and faculty who have less to be thankful for this year, especially those who have lost loved ones. 

Friday – Pray for our students and their families and for provision and resources that enable them to complete educational goals.

Saturday – Pray for our students to be refreshed over the Thanksgiving/Christmas break and to return next semester with resolve to learn much and to make a difference in this world.

November 14-20

Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them. (Mark 11:24 NKJV)

Sunday – Pray for spiritual hunger and growth in our students that they seek God and allow him to shape and form their present and their future.

Monday – Pray for our students who have difficulty persisting. Pray that they overcome their academic and emotional challenges all the way to graduation.

Tuesday – Pray for our COVID Response Team that meets today to begin discussing plans and decisions for next semester. Pray for understanding and wisdom for each member.

Wednesday – Pray for our appeal to be successful for insurance funding to cover the entire cost of a new roof for the old gym which was damaged in a storm.

Thursday – Pray the growth and expansion of our fully online programs and for more nontraditional students to complete their bachelor's degrees through our online programs.

Friday – Pray for abundant revenue from many sources to flow to the College that supports our ministry and expands our vision.

Saturday – Pray for God to deliver us from the evil one and to uphold us with his righteous right hand. (Lk 11:4; Is 41:10 NKJV)

November 7-13

Dear brothers and sisters, pray for us. (1 Thessalonians 5:25 NLT)

Please pray for Emmanuel College this week, November 7-13. Thank you for praying. 

Sunday – Pray for our Residence Directors and student Resident Assistants who work with students living in the residence halls.

Monday – Pray for students who may be struggling academically to reach out to the Academic Resource Center (ARC) for tutoring and other services.

Tuesday – Pray for the successful refinancing of the College's debt so that we lower our interest rate and put ourselves on a path to reduce, and eventually. eliminate our debt.

Wednesday – Pray for the workers who will be refurbishing all the classrooms in the Aaron Building between Thanksgiving and the New Year to be able to work quickly and efficiently to get the job done in the timeframe available to us. 

Thursday – Pray without ceasing for approval of our graduate school prospectus that is now being reviewed by our accreditor.

Friday – Pray for our recruiters and our student admission counselors to be successful in their work to enroll a class next fall that exceeds our goals.

Saturday – Pray for the defeat of the enemies of God that they will not be successful in inhibiting our religious rights to operate a Christian college based on Biblical principles and truth.
