Pray first with confidence that God hears when we pray. Pray with expectation of a loving response. Thank God for hearing our prayers, especially our prayers for Emmanuel College these last 39 days.

 today in your place of worship, whether at home with family or in a church building with the body of Christ. Give the Lord the praise and worship he deserves. And give thanks for all the good in our lives. Just look around and you see his hand of blessing.

Pray first, not second, not third, not eventually, but first. Alone, as couples, as families, with other disciples. In cars, in offices, in schools, in churches. In silence, in whispers, in conversations, in shouts, in songs. In peace and in turmoil. Pray first! 

Pray through for our national and state leaders to use wisdom, understanding, and common sense regarding the creation and enforcement of the laws of our land.
