Victorious

You will be victorious over your enemies; five of you will be able to defeat a hundred, and a hundred will be able to defeat 10,000.  (Leviticus 26:7-8 GNB)

• Pray for victory over the real enemy, not so much the people who oppose us, but the evil powers and principalities behind the scenes wielding destructive influence.
• Never forget that the challenges facing Emmanuel College are spiritual battles ultimately resolved by spiritual means. Prayer is first because prayer invites God to take control and to inform and influence the strategic.
• Pray for thousands of prayer warriors who battle this enemy on their knees, in their prayer closets, in places of worship, putting the enemy to flight and opening the way for freedom and deliverance for Emmanuel College and for those in our circle of influence.

Peace

• Pray for peace of mind to pervade our campus and for the elimination of fear.
• Pray for the removal of physical and spiritual deterrents to God's plan for Emmanuel.
• Pray for numerous meetings in early August for planning and training by faculty, staff and students for the new school year as well as problem-solving meetings engaging friends of the College around financial planning, and please keep praying for these meetings during the remainder of July.

Live Securely

• Pray for a bountiful harvest of students this fall - more than ever before - who will help change our world by leading people everywhere to Jesus.
• Debt threatens security. Pray for the reduction, better yet, the elimination of our debt that we may live securely in our land, fulfilling God's purpose as we move forward in our mission. 
• Pray for times of plenty and prosperity ahead, not for our comfort, but to enable us to be God's strategic force to help scatter his enemies.

• Pray for a spirit of love and unity to pervade the Emmanuel family this school year, starting with those on campus - students, staff, faculty - and spreading around the globe.
• Pray for God's shield of love to protect Emmanuel College from the evil intentions of the devil so that this school year is characterized by victory and freedom.
• Pray for God to bless us as never before and to send us forth to do good everywhere we go.

Worship Only Him

• Few Christians are likely to admit when they hold someone or something higher than the Lord God. Pray we stay alert to the temptation, reject it, and worship only the Lord our God.
• Pray we tie worship and obedience together - the essence of being faithful to God - finding our hearts alive with worship today and our feet faithfully following tomorrow.
• Pray for our students, staff and faculty to worship the Lord this academic year and then follow in perfect obedience his every request.

• How often we've seen this command; how seldom we have obeyed it.
• Pray for the mind of Christ to be in us leading us to obey and pray for the people who are in opposition to the Kingdom of God.
• Pray with us for the individuals who oppose the kingdom-work of Christian higher education in general and Emmanuel College in particular.
