Shouts of joy

Pray first for the battle on our knees as we flood heaven with our petitions and with our praise steeped in faith and devotion.  

Pray through for the extinction of the COVID-19 virus, for an end to the pandemic, for victory over this evil disruption that turns into shouts of joy.

The Word of the Lord: May we shout for joy when we hear of your victory and raise a victory banner in the name of our God. May the Lord answer all your prayers. (Psalm 20:5 NLT)

Our heart's desire

Pray first for our plans to meld into his plans, our heart's desire to be his.

Pray through for Spirit-led revival on our campus this fall flowing through students, staff, faculty, and administration.

The Word of the Lord: May he grant your heart's desires and make all your plans succeed. (Psalm 1:4 NLT)

Safe in times of trouble

Pray first for the Emmanuel family to keep turning to God, to never rely on ourselves but to trust him to keep us safe during times of trouble.

Pray through for an abundance of revenue to meet the needs and advance the mission of Emmanuel College during these perilous times.

The Word of the Lord: In times of trouble, may the Lord answer your cry. May the name of the God of Jacob keep you safe from all harm. (Psalm 20:1 NLT)

Love deeply

Pray first that love will be the single most visible expression of the staff and faculty of Emmanuel College, that our love for each other will spill over to those around us and attract them to Jesus.

Pray through for the Emmanuel College staff, faculty, and senior leadership team to pray intensely, live abundantly, serve passionately, and during these difficult times, to overcome our worries by living out our faith.

Offerings of praise

Pray first for offerings of praise to rise today from the worshiping church of Jesus Christ around the world.

Pray through for clear vision of God's mission for Emmanuel College in 2020 and beyond. Pray that the impact of the pandemic will not impede our progress.

The Lord give you peace

Pray first for the Lord's peace to rest upon us during this summer of rebuilding and recovery for Emmanuel College and for our nation and the world.

Pray through for our students, faculty and staff who have completed a most arduous school year, for healing of hurts, for peace that passes understanding, and for bright hope for the future.

The Word of the Lord as a benediction over this season: 
The Lord bless you, and keep you; 
The Lord make his face shine upon you, and be gracious to you;

May the Lord show you his favor

Pray first for Emmanuel College to experience the favor of God that will bring us financial recovery and prosperity in 2020 and beyond.

Pray through for a great awakening this summer and fall, for people to turn to God, and for faith to arise around the globe.
