Under his protection

Pray first for the successful reopening of campus this fall, for the work of Emmanuel College to resume under the protection and the direction of the Holy Spirit.

Pray through for the extinction of the COVID-19 virus, for an end to the pandemic, for victory over this evil disruption that turns into shouts of joy.

Receptive to the Holy Spirit

Pray first for our spirits to be receptive to the Holy Spirit, our hearts humbled, our minds open.

Pray through for Spirit-led revival on our campus this fall flowing through students, staff, faculty, and administration.

Don't be afraid

Pray first for faith to debilitate fear because we are in Jesus' care. He hears and he responds with what we need, be it a miracle or a comforting word.

Pray through for an abundance of revenue to meet the needs and advance the mission of Emmanuel College during this perilous season.

The Word of the Lord: But Jesus overheard them and said to Jairus, "Don't be afraid. Just have faith." (Mark 5:36 NLT)

Persistent determination

Pray first for our reliance upon the Lord not to diminish when life is hard, for more prayers, greater faith, and persistent determination to do his will.

Pray through for the Emmanuel College staff, faculty, and senior leadership team to pray intensely, live abundantly, serve passionately, and during these difficult times, to overcome our worries by living out our faith.

Remarkable and praiseworthy

Praise first for the remarkable position we hold as children of God descended through the bloodline of Jesus, grafted into the family of God. Praise him today that he is good, he is love, and he is Father.

Pray through for clear vision of God's mission for Emmanuel College in 2020 and beyond. Pray that the impact of the pandemic will not impede our progress.

Common sense

Pray first for Emmanuel College to be able to return to normal operations for the fall semester, for the threat of the pandemic to cease.

Pray through for our nation's leaders to use wisdom, understanding, and common sense regarding the re-opening of our economic and social structures.

Live in peace

Pray first for the family of God to pay close attention to his Word and all his promises so that our lives are filled with peace even when the world is in tumult.

Pray through for provision for Emmanuel College during the challenges presented by the COVID-19 crisis.
