On Wednesdays, please pray for EC Serve, especially our mission trips in 2019 to Alaska, Appalachia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Myanmar, and Panama. Also, pray for the group going to coastal South Carolina this spring to help with hurricane recovery efforts.

Today's meditation: God's mercy extends to every part of our lives, washes over us with abundance, seeps into every crevice. Oh, how we love you, Lord!

Please continue praying for decisions by the Georgia legislature regarding the Dual Enrollment Program. Final decisions were deferred to this week. Pray that the private colleges like Emmanuel will receive favor and generosity in the final funding decision.

Today's meditation: How do we say thanks to God? How often? May the Lord experience our ever-flowing expressions of appreciation and our adoring praise.

Give thanks today for God's favor on Emmanuel College, for his blessing on our mission to change lives, for the prospective students who are considering enrolling, for the steady progress and good success we are having in recruiting for next fall.

Today's meditation: With so many distractions in our world, it requires constant vigilance and steady focus to stay grounded in Jesus and remain in the center of his will.

Pray today for increasing enrollment in all academic majors, especially those under-subscribed, for resources to develop new majors in demand and needed by the world.

Sharpen the Blade

Using a dull ax requires great strength, so sharpen the blade. That's the value of wisdom; it helps you succeed. (Ecclesiastes 10:10 NLT)

Today's meditation: God doesn't bestow wisdom as much as he sends us circumstances that require us to sharpen our skills of logic, reason, and discernment under the tutelage of the Holy Spirit.

Pray today for the College's budgeting process for next year to appropriately balance resources and needs, for clear solutions to complex challenges, for greater efficiencies, for increases in revenue, for wise re-direction of some resources.
