Released

The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is upon me, for the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent me to comfort the brokenhearted and to proclaim that captives will be released and prisoners will be freed. (Isaiah 61:1 NLT)

Today's meditation:

• As Great Commission Christians, ours is to share the good news of the Gospel to those enslaved and bound by sin, that the brokenhearted take heart and the poor want no more.

Pray today:

• For the Emmanuel College Board of Trustees, for their meeting on campus in two weeks, for preparations to be completed without undue physical and emotional stress, for wisdom and spiritual discernment to pervade our discussions and decisions.
• For guidance in the management, reduction, and elimination of the College's debt, for focus beyond financial challenges to the opportunities to be seized, for release from what holds us back or slows us down, for the advancement of the Kingdom of God through the good health and vitality of Emmanuel College.

Pray First in every circumstance, challenge, and choice. Always Pray First!
