Today's meditation:
- We must be careful not to take credit for what God alone has done, even when he uses us in ways that help achieve victory. It is still his victory made all the more amazing by his ability to work through human frailty to accomplish divine purposes.
Give thanks today:
- We prayed specifically for God to send financial resources, and he always does and sometimes in unexpected ways, like the major gift we received from an unlikely transaction that was set in motion 50 years ago, but came to fruition precisely when we needed it. Praise the Lord!
- For rescue from the bondage of debt, for the miracle of agreement when differing opinions form a common decision, for all plans and actions to yield to God's perfect timing.
The 31 days of intense prayer and fasting for Emmanuel College are over, but let's extend it for a few more days during this special season when God is at work in a mighty way. The LIST below focuses on key issues.

PRAY FOR THE LEADERSHIP TEAM
- To succeed in negotiations and conversations on behalf of the college.
- To possess words of influence and to use them wisely.
- To discern accurately and to respond effectively.
- To experience the favor of God.
- To provide good counsel in decision-making and actions.
- To supply resources, both financial and otherwise, that create a bright future for the College.
- To be faithful and united before God to do his bidding.
- To be courageous in standing with us to fulfill God's purposes through Emmanuel College.
- To hear God's voice clearly and to obediently follow his direction.
- To be guided by the Holy Spirit with gifts of knowledge and discernment.
- To make good decisions and to clearly communicate them.
- To be courageous in words and actions in following God's plan for Emmanuel.
- To be faithful in all circumstances, whether easy or hard, always with thankful hearts.
- To dramatically reduce our debt before May 2018, and to eliminate our debt within 5 years.
- To successfully achieve reaffirmation of accreditation in June 2018.
- To be accepted into active membership in the NCAA Division II in July 2018.
- To enroll more than 1000 students in August 2018.
- To hear the Word of the Lord regarding life after debt and our vision for an expanded mission for 2018 and beyond.
- For spiritual and character development.
- For academic success in their learning and in achievements.
- For revival and renewal among our students, for the lost to be saved.
- For persistence and determination to reach educational and personal goals.
- Significant conference calls and meetings this week about the reduction of debt.

- Visit by special accreditation committee, February 20-22
