I Have Come to You

O Lord, I have come to you for protection; don't let me be disgraced. Save me, for you do what is right. (Psalm 31:1 NLT)

Today's meditation:

• May we realize that part of God's protection comes from listening carefully to him and obeying his voice in making good decisions that keep us out of trouble in the first place.

Give thanks today:

• We asked God specifically to grant us favor with authorities and agencies, and God responded by helping us time and again by covering us with grace and mercy that led to miraculous outcomes.

Pray today:

• For God's protection from forces that war against us, for him to save us from pitfalls and other unseen dangers, for us to have the wisdom to follow him to safety.

Our prayers make a difference in our outcomes. Please continue to pray over the list below that focuses on key needs at Emmanuel College.

PRAY FOR OUR HELPERS AND SUPPORTERS

• To possess words of influence and to use them wisely.
• To experience the favor of God.
• To supply resources, both financial and otherwise, that create a bright future for the College.
• To be courageous in standing with us to fulfill God's purposes through Emmanuel College.

PRAY FOR THE LEADERSHIP TEAM

• To hear God's voice clearly and to follow his direction.
• To be guided by the Holy Spirit with gifts of knowledge and discernment.
• To make good decisions and to clearly communicate them.
• To be faithful in all circumstances, whether easy or hard, always with thankful hearts.

PRAY FOR THE TOP FIVE NEEDS OF EMMANUEL COLLEGE

• To dramatically reduce our debt before May 2018, and to eliminate our debt within 5 years.
• To successfully achieve reaffirmation of accreditation in June 2018.
• To be accepted into active membership in the NCAA Division II in July 2018.
• To enroll more than 1000 students in August 2018.
• To hear the Word of the Lord regarding life after debt and our vision for an expanded mission for 2018 and beyond.

• Significant and ongoing conversations regarding the reduction of debt.
• Founders Preview recruiting event, February 16-18
• Visit by special accreditation committee, February 20-22
• Meeting of the Board of Trustees, March 2-3
