Gracious Act of Giving

Since you excel in so many ways . . . I want you to excel also in this gracious act of giving. (2 Corinthians 8:7 NLT)

Today's meditation:

• Prayer is first in our attempt to expand the College's services and facilities for our students. Praying through helps us do God's work God's way.

Pray today:

• For our plans to expand the college dining hall debt-free, for a significant lead gift to fund the project, for wisdom in fundraising, planning and implementation. 
• For our current donors to be consistent in their support, for new donors to be attracted to the mission and ministry of Emmanuel College, for gifts of helps and generosity to abound.

Pray for the top three needs of Emmanuel College:

• To hear the Word of the Lord regarding life after debt and our vision for an expanded mission for 2018 and beyond.
• To enroll more than 1000 students in August 2019.
• To continue reducing our debt over the next five years with the purpose of becoming debt-free.

Pray for upcoming events and activities:.

• General chapel services on Tuesdays at 11 a.m. and on Wednesdays at 7 p.m. and School of Christian Ministries chapel services on Thursdays at 11 a.m.
• Fall Preview recruiting event, November 2-4.
• Spring Semester enrollment in January 2019 to exceed expectations because of better retention, larger numbers of new students, and a total enrollment of 900 or more.
• EC Serve trips for 2019 in the planning stages to Alaska, Appalachia, Ecuador, Costa Rica, Myanmar, and Panama.
• For special projects to begin in 2019 to construct and remodel facilities debt-free including improvements to Wellons Residence Hall and constructing the Collins agricultural teaching/lab building, for wisdom in fundraising, planning and implementation.
