Prayer to our God

They put their heads together and decided to fight against Jerusalem and create as much trouble as they could. We countered with prayer to our God and set a round-the-clock guard against them. (Nehemiah 4:8-9 MSG)

Today's prayer topics:

• One of the enemy's tactics is to coordinate multiple, simultaneous assaults on our position to create confusion and stress, but God is not intimidated by this approach and neither should we.
• Attack on the left? Then pray to our God. Attack on the right? Pray. From behind or below or above? Pray because it's the best weapon we have.
• And pray we throw off distractions and focus on guarding our minds and hearts around the clock with the Word of God and the fellowship of believers.

Never give up unless its praise we give up to God; never give in except to give in to him.
