Work Together

Then I explained to the leaders and officials and to all the people, "The work is very spread out and we are widely separated from each other along the wall. When you hear the blast of the trumpet, rush to wherever it is sounding." (Nehemiah 4:19-20 NLT)

• People in ministry together are people in community who work for each other and with each other, who help and defend one another, who are not self-serving but serving others.

Pray today:

• For the people of Emmanuel College to commit to following Jesus Christ in obedience to his call upon our lives and to fulfill the mission of our ministry together.
• For the faculty and staff of the College to discover and use the most appropriate methods of preparing our students for productive careers, life-long learning, and effective service.
• For the Emmanuel College community to strengthen our connectivity, to collaborate and cooperate for the purpose of helping our students integrate vibrant faith with what they are learning, that it may lead them to purposeful living.
