He Will Answer

You people who live in Jerusalem will not weep any more. The Lord is compassionate, and when you cry to him for help, he will answer you. (Isaiah 30:19 GNB)

Today's meditation:

• Before we utter a word or ask anything of the Lord, know that he loves us and be confident he will answer when we call because he deeply cares for us and sends what we need when we need it.

Pray today:

• For many prayers, cries and pleas to be made to the Lord, for intense prayers coming deep from within when words are inadequate, for prayers without ceasing - all directed to the Lord who not only encourages us to pray, but who also answers.
• For important meetings today focused on relieving the debt and finding the best pathway forward, for clear communication and understanding, for insight and discernment.

• To pray first – before plans, before decisions, before actions, before spoken and written words.
• To pray through – to pray without ceasing, to keep on praying and asking God to meet our needs and to advance his kingdom through us.

PRAY FOR THE TOP FIVE NEEDS OF EMMANUEL COLLEGE

• To dramatically reduce our debt before May 2018, and to eliminate our debt within 5 years.
• To successfully achieve reaffirmation of accreditation in June 2018.
• To be accepted into active membership in the NCAA Division II in July 2018.
• To enroll more than 1000 students in August 2018.
• To hear the Word of the Lord regarding life after debt and our vision for an expanded mission for 2018 and beyond.
