This Far

Then King David went in and sat before the Lord and prayed, "Who am I, O Sovereign Lord, and what is my family, that you have brought me this far?" (2 Samuel 7:18 NLT)

Today's meditation:

• Amazed! Astonished! That God would find favor and bless Emmanuel College and bring us this far - far enough to establish financial stability and academic prowess, far enough to mentor and shape generations of students, far beyond the wildest dreams of our founders.

Pray today:

• For the enrollment of the next generation of students this fall, for nothing to hinder the students who are called to Emmanuel College, for God's favor and guidance to be upon each student who should enroll.
• For the early registration event over the next two days, for those who plan to enroll to find the means to do so, for those who are hesitating to hear the voice of the Lord and to obey.
• For another record enrollment this coming fall semester.

Our prayers make a difference in our outcomes. Please continue to pray over the list below that focuses on key needs at Emmanuel College.

PRAY FOR THE TOP FOUR NEEDS OF EMMANUEL COLLEGE

• To be accepted into active membership in the NCAA Division II in July 2018.
• To enroll more than 1000 students in August 2018.
• To continue reducing our debt over the next five years with the purpose of becoming debt-free.
• To hear the Word of the Lord regarding life after debt and our vision for an expanded mission for 2018 and beyond.

PRAY FOR OUR SUPPORTERS

• To supply resources, both financial and otherwise, that create a bright future for the College.

PRAY FOR THE LEADERSHIP TEAM

• To be guided by the Holy Spirit with gifts of wisdom, knowledge and discernment.

PRAY FOR IMPORTANT UPCOMING EVENTS AND ACTIVITIES

• Recruiting at Conference Youth Camps this summer. 
• EC Serve mission trip to Uganda and Kenya in the field now through June 29.
• EC Mission on campus, July 15-21 (http://www.ec.edu/ecmission).
• Senior Management Team Advance, July 16-17
• Recruiting at Youth Quest, July 19-22.
• Alpha Weekend, opening the new school year with spiritual emphasis, August 9-12.
