Today's meditation:
- Places for quiet times and prayer are important and help us focus on our loving father who knows precisely how to encourage us and renew us with his strength.
- For our efforts to create more spaces on our campus for individuals and groups to meet for prayer and Bible study, for a continued focus on prayer for Emmanuel College, for more people praying throughout our campus, for more prayers by our alumni and friends.
- For more groups to form that study God's word, that support and encourage growth in Christ, that provide guidance for living by his principles and following his path.
- To hear the Word of the Lord regarding life after debt and our vision for an expanded mission for 2018 and beyond.
- To enroll more than 1000 students in August 2019.
- To continue reducing our debt over the next five years with the purpose of becoming debt-free.
Pray for upcoming events and activities:.
- General chapel services on Tuesdays at 11 a.m. and on Wednesdays at 7 p.m. and School of Christian Ministries chapel services on Thursdays at 11 a.m.
- Vision 4 Education Celebration sponsored by Women's Ministries, October 5.
- Board of Trustees Meeting, October 5-6.
- Homecoming Weekend, October 19-21.
- Fall Preview recruiting event, November 2-4.
