In a Manger

She gave birth to her firstborn son. She wrapped him snugly in strips of cloth and laid him in a manger, because there was no lodging available for them. (Luke 2:7 NLT)

Away in a manger, no crib for his bed,
The little Lord Jesus laid down his sweet head;
The stars in the sky look down where he lay,
The little Lord Jesus, asleep on the hay.

Word of the Father, now in flesh appearing!
