Disciplined and Successful Lives

Their [Proverbs] purpose is to teach people to live disciplined and successful lives, to help them do what is right, just, and fair.  (Proverbs 1:3 NLT)

Today's meditation: Anyone who heeds and obeys God's word is wise, but to heed it we must read it.

Pray today for our students in these last four weeks of the semester to apply themselves to their studies, for those who are behind to get caught up, for those who are about to give up to work hard instead, for all our students to resist distractions and focus on what matters.

Please pray every day for the top five needs of Emmanuel College:

• For Spirit-led revival and renewal among our students, staff, and faculty.
• For clear vision of God's mission in 2019 and beyond.
• For growing enrollments and for more than 1000 students next fall.
• For successful fundraising and abundant resources.
• For the College to become debt-free.

On Wednesdays, please pray for EC Serve, especially our mission trips in 2019 to Alaska, Appalachia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Myanmar, and Panama.
