The Lord still rules

Pray first for this Independence Day to stimulate gratefulness in all Americans for democracy and the liberties and freedoms it provides. May we pray intensely for our country and its people. 

Pray through for our national and state leaders to use wisdom, understanding, and common sense regarding the creation and enforcement of the laws of our land which create public order and protect our religious freedoms.

The Word of the Lord: The foundations of law and order have collapsed. What can the righteous do? But the Lord is in his holy temple; the Lord still rules from heaven. (Psalm 11:3-4a NLT)
