Generous

Pray first that we sow generously into the lives of those around us this summer and fall. Pray that we reap abundantly in numbers of students, in spiritual fruit, in knowledge, understanding and common sense, and in generous provisions and resources.

Pray through for revenue from enrollment and fundraising to meet the needs of the mission of Emmanuel College and to underwrite the vision.

The Word of the Lord: Remember this - a farmer who plants only a few seeds will get a small crop. But the one who plants generously will get a generous crop. (2 Corinthians 9:6 NLT)

Preparation

Pray first for all the plans being made for fall semester. Pray for faculty as they prepare lessons and learn new technologies for instruction. Pray for staff as they develop programming and prepare facilities.

Pray through for the Emmanuel College staff, faculty, and senior leadership team to pray intensely, live abundantly, serve passionately, and during these difficult times, to overcome our worries by living out our faith.

The Word of the Lord: Cry out for insight, and ask for understanding. (Proverbs 2:3 NLT)

The Lord blesses

Praise first today and worship him who rules and reigns over all. The wickedness and blight of sin permeates our world, but the Lord gives his children strength and peace to face anything that comes.

Pray through for clear vision of God's mission for Emmanuel College in 2020 and beyond. Pray that the impact of the pandemic will not impede our progress.

The Word of the Lord: The Lord rules over the floodwaters. The Lord reigns as king forever. The Lord gives his people strength. The Lord blesses them with peace. (Psalm 29:10-11 NLT)

The Lord still rules

Pray first for this Independence Day to stimulate gratefulness in all Americans for democracy and the liberties and freedoms it provides. May we pray intensely for our country and its people.

Pray through for our national and state leaders to use wisdom, understanding, and common sense regarding the creation and enforcement of the laws of our land which create public order and protect our religious freedoms.

The Word of the Lord: The foundations of law and order have collapsed. What can the righteous do? But the Lord is in his holy temple; the Lord still rules from heaven. (Psalm 11:3-4a NLT)

Ministry of giving

Give thanks for the success of our recent matching challenge campaign that exceeded its goal and brought needed funds to the College at this critical time.

Pray first for more donors to be drawn to a ministry of giving to Emmanuel College that will fuel our mission and enable our vision - all for the glory of God.

Pray through for provision for Emmanuel College during the challenges presented by the pandemic.

The Word of the Lord: I really don't need to write to you about this ministry of giving for the believers in Jerusalem. For I know how eager you are to help. . . In fact, it was your enthusiasm that stirred up many of the Macedonian believers to begin giving. (2 Corinthians 9:1-2 NLT)

Remarkable favor

Pray first for preparations for fall semester to be completed on time, for the next few weeks to be blessed with remarkable favor.

Pray through for the eradication of the COVID-19 virus, for an end to the pandemic, for victory over this evil disruption that turns into shouts of joy.

The Word of the Lord: Our ancestors put their trust in you; they trusted you, and you saved them. (Psalm 22:4 GNT)

You always answer

Thank you for praying and fasting during the last 40 days for Emmanuel

Pray first for the many challenges facing Emmanuel College over the next several months: enrollment, instruction, safety, protection, religious freedoms, fundraising, revenue, resources, debt reduction, purpose, mission, renewal, service.

Pray through for Spirit-led revival on our campus this fall flowing through students, staff, faculty, and administration.

The Word of the Lord: You will answer me, God; I know you always will, like you always do as you listen with love to my every prayer. (Psalm 17:1 TPT)
