Abundance

Be Strong in Your Faith

• Pray for alertness to see the moves of the enemy and for wisdom backed by faith to make the correct counter moves to thwart his advances.

• Pray for wisdom to follow the direction and guidance of our Lord regardless of the terrain, whether it's easy or arduous.

• Pray we resist the urge to take the credit for what the Lord has done and continues to do at Emmanuel College; rather, may we declare, "He has done it!"
• Pray for our culture of service to develop so strongly at Emmanuel that thousands upon thousands will know God in the future because we served faithfully in the present. 
• Pray for generous responses in the second week of Fall Phon-a-thon.

• Pray we learn how to get our hands dirty in service that it may lead to many who's hearts are washed clean by Jesus.
• Pray for our student team who will be at Safehouse in Atlanta this week to wash the feet of homeless people and then give them clean, new socks as well as food and other necessities.
• Pray for the material needs of our service mission to be met.

• Thankful for the team of volunteers under the direction of Lou and Becky Shirey who are completing today a Spiritual Encounter Weekend with a group of thirty people comprised of students and faculty. Thankful for this wonderful preparation for greater service in the name of the Lord.
