Day 40 - Your will be done

Day 40 of 40 days of prayer and fasting for a future full of hope

Pray first
the perfect prayer over every situation which is to pray for his will to be accomplished, for our efforts to synchronize with his, for our desires to be exchanged for his.

Pray through for revenue from enrollment and fundraising to meet the needs of the mission of Emmanuel College and to underwrite the vision.

The Word of the Lord: [Jesus] knelt down and prayed, saying, "Father, if it is your will, take this cup away from me; nevertheless, not my will, but yours, be done." (Luke 22:42 NKJV)

Day 38 - Praise the Lord

Day 38 of 40 days of prayer and fasting for a future full of hope

Praise first
today in your place of worship, whether at home with family or in a church building with the body of Christ. Give the Lord the praise and worship he deserves. And give thanks for all the good in our lives. Just look around and you see his hand of blessing.

Pray through for clear vision of God's mission for Emmanuel College in 2020 and beyond. Pray that the impact of the pandemic will not impede our progress.

The Word of the Lord: Let all that I am praise the Lord; may I never forget the good things he does for me. He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases. (Psalm 103:2-3 NLT)

Day 37 - Pray first

Day 37 of 40 days of prayer and fasting for a future full of hope

Pray first, not second, not third, not eventually, but first. Alone, as couples, as families, with other disciples. In cars, in offices, in schools, in churches. In silence, in whispers, in conversations, in shouts, in songs. In peace and in turmoil. Pray first!

Pray through for our national and state leaders to use wisdom, understanding, and common sense regarding the creation and enforcement of the laws of our land.

The Word of the Lord: One day Jesus left the crowds to pray alone. Only his disciples were with him. (Luke 9:18 NLT)
