Praise be to the Lord, who has given rest to his people Israel just as he promised. Not one word has failed of all the good promises he gave through his servant Moses. (1 Kings 8:56 NIV)
Today's prayer topics:
- Having come through a perilous season, give thanks for our momentary respite and for the promises of God kept.
- As we labor in the re-accreditation process over the next 18-24 months, pray we meet all standards of SACSCOC, especially those related to financial position.
- Week 19 in the campaign FOR EMMANUEL. Not one word of his has failed us. Think about that. None of the promises still made will fail us. Think about that. In the heat of battle, pray we think about his integrity in keeping his good promises to his people.
Answered prayer:
- Thankful for a $25,000 estate gift last week. We are so thankful for our alumni and friends who remember Emmanuel College in their estate planning and bless us still, though they are now gone to be with Christ.
Never give up unless it's praise we give up to God; never give in except to give in to him.
