The Lord Our God With Us

May the Lord our God be with us as he was with our ancestors; may he never leave us nor forsake us.  (1 Kings 8:57 NIV)

Today's prayer topics:

• Emmanuel. God with us. God in us. God through us to the world. Pray we will always be a college true to its name.
• Pray for each faculty and staff member, who will serve on a re-accreditation committee over the next 18-24 months, to be able to handle these extra duties with wisdom and insight. 
• Week 19 in the campaign FOR EMMANUEL. Responses from our alumni and friends in the past have been outstanding. Pray their actions in the present and future will be generous beyond what we can think or imagine.

Answered prayer:

• Thankful for a successful opening of fall semester as we get down to business - educating our wonderful students across numerous majors, all within our Christ-centered community of believers. It is a beautiful sight to behold each day: faculty, staff and students doing what we were called here to do.

Never give up unless it's praise we give up to God; never give in except to give in to him.
