The disciples were terrified and fell face down on the ground. Then Jesus came over and touched them. "Get up," he said. "Don't be afraid." (Matthew 17:6-7 NLT)
Today's meditation:
- When Jesus shows up, anxiety dissipates. With his touch, we get up and get going.
Pray today:
- For us to hear the voice of Jesus calling us to action, directing our efforts, encouraging us to vanquish anxiety.
- For obstacles in our path to be carried out of our way as easily as a fast flowing river moves debris to its banks and flows to the sea unimpeded.
- As we did yesterday, pray and keep on praying that no impediment will arise that slows the progress of Emmanuel College in becoming all God intends for us to be both now and in the future.
Pray First in every circumstance, challenge, and choice. Always Pray First!
