But in my distress I cried out to the Lord; yes, I
prayed to my God for help. He heard me from his sanctuary; my cry to him

- Even before we pray, may we grasp that God hears each
prayer. Not one escapes his attention.
- Pray that the Emmanuel family not tire of calling upon
the Lord for help. Rather, may we pray with greater intensity.
- May we pray from our deepest emotions, releasing our
distress word by word and sentence by sentence.
