I Will Rise

The next day, on the Sabbath, the leading priests and Pharisees went to see Pilate. They told him, "Sir, we remember what that deceiver once said while he was alive: 'After three days I will rise from the dead.' So we request that you seal the tomb until the third day". . .so they sealed the tomb and posted guards to protect it. (Matthew 27:62-64, 66 NLT)

Today's prayer topics:

• The efforts of man to thwart God's plan are feeble at best. It cannot be done.
• Pray for faith to overpower doubt and for hope to overcome despair whenever and wherever doubt and despair appear. Despite appearances, God will rise and challenge our emotions and our faith and prove himself greater than any human circumstance. 
• Pray for clarity of vision to see what really is.
