Lions

I am surrounded by fierce lions who greedily devour human prey - whose teeth pierce like spears and arrows, and whose tongues cut like swords. (Psalm 57:4 NLT)

• Two observations about lions in the Bible: They are often portrayed as enemies, yet Jesus is identified as the Lion of the tribe of Judah - leader, rescuer, Savior.
• The take-away: Pray that what the enemy intends for evil is transformed into outcomes that are powerfully blessed and incredibly good.
• Emmanuel's mascot is the lion, and like the noble beast, pray for us to be confident, fierce, and not afraid.
