I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and difficulties for Christ's sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong. (2 Corinthians 12:10 GNB)
Today's meditation:
- Many may know insults, hardships and difficulties, but few have suffered persecution, and almost none have experienced any of these for the cause of Christ, rather because of our own poor decision-making. Regardless, we must be content in allowing Jesus to use weakness to make us strong.
Pray today:
- For difficulties to yield to Jesus and become easy thoroughfares for God's people at Emmanuel College to accomplish his plan.
- For hardships in resources and means to give way to Jesus and become abundance for purposes that advance his kingdom.
- For insults to be deflected in Jesus' name and become pathways for reconciliation.
- For persecution, when it comes, to be managed by the grace and power of Jesus Christ our Lord.
