Please pray for Emmanuel College this week, December 12 - 18.
Sunday – Pray for our students to see deeper meaning in Christmas this year. Pray that in giving and receiving gifts, they will see the greatest gift ever given - Jesus.
Monday – As we celebrate Jesus' first coming, pray that we remember his second coming and our responsibility to prepare a people for him.
Tuesday – Pray that those who see the baby in the manger will also see the Christ of Christmas - messiah, redeemer, and friend.
Wednesday – Pray that the lights of Christmas will reveal Jesus, the Light of the World, who dispels darkness and brings new life.
Thursday – Nativity scenes, carols, Christmas plays and programs. Pray that these and other Christmas traditions will lead many to seek and find the Savior.
Friday – Pray that the reds of Christmas, whether wrapping paper, ribbons, or candy canes, point to the blood of Jesus, the only solvent that removes the stain of sin to make us clean.
Saturday – Pray for unbelievers to believe in Jesus this Christmas, especially those among our students, and in our churches and communities, and in our families.
