And when they had opened their treasures, they presented gifts to Him: gold, frankincense, and myrrh. (Matthew 2:11 NKJV)
Please pray for Emmanuel College this week, December 12 - 18.
Sunday – Pray for our students to see deeper meaning in Christmas this year. Pray that in giving and receiving gifts, they will see the greatest gift ever given - Jesus.
Monday – As we celebrate Jesus' first coming, pray that we remember his second coming and our responsibility to prepare a people for him.
Tuesday – Pray that those who see the baby in the manger will also see the Christ of Christmas - messiah, redeemer, and friend.
Wednesday – Pray that the lights of Christmas will reveal Jesus, the Light of the World, who dispels darkness and brings new life.
Thursday – Nativity scenes, carols, Christmas plays and programs. Pray that these and other Christmas traditions will lead many to seek and find the Savior.
Friday – Pray that the reds of Christmas point to the blood of Jesus, the only solvent that removes the stain of sin to make us clean.
Saturday – Pray for unbelievers to believe in Jesus this Christmas, especially those among our students, and in our churches and communities, and in our families.
