Prosperous

But if you will seek God earnestly and plead with the Almighty, if you are pure and upright, even now he will rouse himself on your behalf and restore you to your prosperous state.  Your beginnings will seem humble, so prosperous will your future be. (Job 8:5-7 NIV)

Day 16 of 21 days of prayer

Today's prayer topics:

• Pray for Brian James, Vice President for Advancement, and his staff who interact with our current and potential donors. Pray for the faithful alumni and friends of Emmanuel College. 
• Pray for our fundraising efforts to be so successful that our future will be remarkably prosperous compared to our past.
• Pray for new donors to step up and give as the Lord leads, and pray for extraordinary and transformational gifts to come in.
• Pray for God to bless our donors' personal income, investments, businesses and other financial enterprises in ways that enable them to be generous.

Answered prayers:

• We prayed and continue to pray for gifts and donations to support Emmanuel College. Alumni and friends have responded over the past two years by giving at record-breaking levels. Some have given sacrificially. There have been gifts of all sizes. Some contributions have been unexpected. All gifts have been deeply appreciated. Give thanks.

Never give up unless its praise we give up to God; never give in except to give in to him.
