But now the people believed Philip's message of Good News concerning the Kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ. As a result, many men and women were baptized. (Acts 8:12 NLT)
Today's meditation:
- The believer's call is to go and serve, but the results are up to God, yet our human limitations sometimes make it difficult to understand what he is up to.
Pray today:
- For EC Serve, our student service organization, preparing for another year of ministry, helping people at home and abroad, meeting material needs of people, sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with them.
- For more students to volunteer to participate in service projects, for a culture of service to be the norm on the Emmanuel College campus.
- For service projects and mission trips to be planned under the guidance and direction of the Holy Spirit, for the people who will be the recipients of our service to respond to Jesus and accept his grace.
