So if you are suffering in a manner that pleases God, keep on doing what is right, and trust your lives to the God who created you, for he will never fail you. (1 Peter 4:19 NLT)

- Suffering, then, is part of life, even the life of the Christian, and the challenge is not so much to avoid it as it is to please God while living through it.
Pray today:
- For sturdy resolve to do what's right even in a world that says its Ok to do wrong, for commitment to principles of love and service, for living the example of holiness in thought and action.
- For trust in God to never waiver, no matter the pain or difficulty, for assurance that he is always only a prayer away.
- For any student, staff, or faculty that may be hurting right now because of issues and events life throws our way, for the suffering ones to find solace in Jesus who never fails us, for them to take comfort in his presence.
