Every Word

But Jesus told him, "No! The Scriptures say, 'People do not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.'" (Matthew 4:4 NLT)

Today's meditation: Hunger for the Word of God always yields a rich banquet of satisfying answers and meaningful directions.

Pray today for our students to turn to the Word of God to learn how to live rather than to listen to the world, for them to allow God to lead them to Truth.

Please pray every day for the top three needs of Emmanuel College:

• For clear vision of God's mission in 2019 and beyond.
• For growing enrollments and for more than 1000 students next fall.
• For the College to become debt-free.

On Wednesdays, please pray for EC Serve, especially our mission trips for 2019 to Alaska, Appalachia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Myanmar, and Panama.
